I
sent by Jno Esten to Manassas to give to Wat to-day -- a nice bridle
for you. All except the bit. I have since procured the bit
which I will send by the first opportunity.

is about to leave for Columbus Ky.
We
hate to part with him, but it is a the most important point & gives
him a separate command.
He
paid me the compliment to send for copies of my outpost Instructions for
Cavalry & Infy.
